3 Tips to Get Motivated Fast

Hey, how has your week been?

Who else feels life is crazy busy right now?

Between school holidays, work, family, and everything in between, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But the good news? There are three must do simple switches you can make, that can have a huge impact on your mental wellness, stress, and even sleep quality that if done daily can have incredible results

Here are three easy daily habits you can start today:

1. Move Your Body

When you exercise, your body produces oxytocin—aka the "feel-good hormone"—which also boosts your dopamine receptors. Exercising with a friend? Even better! That sense of connection will keep you motivated for the rest of the day.

2. Get Outside & and into Nature

Whether it's a walk on the beach, a hike through the bush, or just sitting in a park, nature is a powerful de-stressor. Surrounding yourself with greenery signals your brain to relax, reducing cortisol levels and leaving you feeling calm and grounded. For me a daily walk along the beach is my go to.

3. Morning Sunlight ☀️

Catch the morning sunlight (without sunnies!). Sunlight hitting your eyes triggers serotonin production, which boosts your mood and energy. Plus, it helps your body produce melatonin at night, so you'll sleep better too.


Bonus... Your Microbiome & the Gut-Brain Axis 🧠

Here’s something you might not know.

The gut-brain axis is a two-way street, and if your gut isn't happy, your brain won't be either. By feeding your gut the right things, like probiotics and fats acids, you can actually reduce stress, boost your mood, and improve sleep.

Simple switches like cutting back on late-night scrolling or adding a daily supplement to nourish your gut can make a huge difference. Think of it as self-care from the inside out!
